About Mixlab
Mixlab is the delightful pet pharmacy that is redefining customer experience in healthcare.
We launched in the fall of 2017 to make the pet pharmacy experience delightful for veterinarians and pet parents. In just over a year, we’ve established trusted partnerships, and friendships, with veterinarians and pet parents across the Northeast. We focus on quality and delivering the best customer experience – check out our Instagram and our 5 star reviews across Google, Yelp and Facebook! We are venture-backed and have just raised $8.5mm of funding from early backers of companies like Facebook, LinkedIn and Slack. We will be rapidly growing the team so that we can give all pets the personalized care they deserve.
The opportunity
As the Lead Product Manager, you’ll work with the CXO and digital team to create a delightful end-to-end experience for veterinarians, pet parents and our pharmacy team at scale. You will lead product strategy, development and prioritization as we prepare to expand nationally. This is an ambitious project that offers many rewarding product challenges.

Responsibilities
Work with stakeholders to scale the business and operations through software
Lead the product strategy based on data, user feedback, and the business needs
Determine product prioritization while managing and communicating trade-offs to stakeholders
Partner with UX and engineering to define KPI’s, user needs, and features to deliver a delightful product
Translate product strategy into an actionable roadmap
Work with stakeholders to define key data points for analysis
Develop both a system and processes at scale
Facilitate communication between different teams throughout the development process
Provide insights into product, technology and market trends
Manage software integration with partners
Manage project timeline
Roll out and strategically market new features to stakeholders
Run retrospectives with the digital team and present monthly reports to the executives and department leads
Work with the staff engineer to manage off-shore engineers
Qualifications:
4+ years’ experience in product management
Self-starter and independent problem-solver who escalates issues when appropriate
Ability to collaborate and communicate with engineering, UX, other product managers, and non-technical disciplines
Openness to others’ opinions and ideas
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent communication skills whether it’s with internal teams, customers, or partners
Experience using agile methodologies to deliver products and technologies
Must love pets
Bonus points for:
Experience designing for SaaS platforms and internal tools
Engineering background
A love of socially responsible products and desire to make an impact
Prior experience working with off-shore developers
1+ years of mentoring

As trusted formulation experts, we will be launching non-prescription wellness products for pets. As the first marketing-focused employee, you’ll have an amazing opportunity to develop key strategies and carry them through implementation. This is an ambitious project and you’ll be integral in helping us grow into a leading pet care company.
Responsibilities
Form a consumer products strategy and launch proprietary grooming and supplements line
Build the redesign strategy for mixlabrx.com
Develop and implement B2B digital marketing strategy
Coordinate with Design and Copy teams to create and post assets
Work directly with CEO and CXO to define goals and manage progress
