Maven is looking for an operational wizard with strong leadership and influencing capabilities to drive a performance-focused operating model across our executive leadership team. This senior-leadership level role will drive a strong, cross-departmental culture of accountability, help shape and manage the agenda of Maven’s C-suite leadership meetings, and lead thinking on the systems and checkpoints required to maintain and track strong performance throughout our organization.
As VP, Chief of Staff, you will:
Work directly with the CEO and other executive leadership to define and codify key company-wide priorities, including but not limited to annual and quarterly company OKRs
Form a strong independent point of view on “what it will take” to achieve company and business-unit-specific operating goals, working with the executive team to understand potential gaps, define plan to address them, and ensure success
Shape objectives for, and manage operating cadence of, C-suite and executive team meetings -- ensuring the right topics are surfaced, at the right times, facilitating effective discussion and documenting / managing follow-up on action items
Shape operational model required to track progress against team objectives effectively
Manage team encompassing Office of the CEO -- including CEO’s executive assistant and special projects lead, as well as potential additional staff
Lead and organize content creation for key documents including board decks and investor communications
Periodically lead one-off projects on key strategic topics as they emerge

Strong influencing skills as well as ability to communicate directly to drive accountability where required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; previous experience with board & executive communications a plus
Excellent project management skills
Significant entrepreneurial drive, ability to create order from chaos, and willingness to roll up sleeves to directly solve challenging problems where required
Systems thinking and the ability to imagine and drive the creation of new structures or processes required for business success
Agility to multitask and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment in the face of many competing priorities
