The Role
Bureau is hiring a Growth Lead to architect and execute our digital customer acquisition strategy and generate online awareness and traffic for Bureau. As a member of Bureau's founding team, you'll own the online customer funnel for our business and help us meet ambitious revenue and market share goals.
In your first ninety days at Bureau, you’ll work with the executive team to build customer personas, map our user journey, and run growth experiments across channels including SEO and link-building, PR, email and content marketing, social media and affiliate partnerships. You'll select the right partners, launch and manage profitable paid marketing campaigns. You’ll build infrastructure to measure and report results, and develop strategies to scale the most promising channels.
Your contributions will make a direct imapct on Bureau's success, and you'll report to our Chief Product Officer. This is an incredible opportunity to hone your growth and marketing skills at the ground floor of a funded, seed-stage startup that has found fit in a huge market.
Day to Day
Own traffic growth for Bureau by developing and launching a strategy to meet ambitious traffic and conversion goals; write our growth playbook
Map the customer journey for various user segments, identify points of friction, and develop solutions to increase conversion and revenue / user
Grow owned channels (email, social) by hiring and managing a team of freelancers to produce and distribute quality content
Test, scale and manage profitable paid marketing campaigns directly or by recruiting and managing agency partners
Collaborate with sales, partnerships and regional market teams on cross-functional growth initiatives
What We’re Looking For
2-5 years of experience at a top-tier bank, consulting firm or working on growth / product for a technology company
Scrappy, do more with less: think James Bond + MacGyver + Bear Grylls
Strong bias for action and a thirst to learn
Superlative written and verbal communication
Bonus Points
Past experience working on growth for a top-tier ecommerce or B2B startup
Experience running SEO or paid acquisition campaigns
Experience building a growth team
A love for furniture, design and the built environment
