You will work directly with the CEO and other senior leaders across all aspects of clients’ respective needs and the business of the business. There is no limit to your responsibilities or to the outlets for your curiosity. The role is a combination of Chief of Staff, business development, entrepreneur, and analyst.

Key Responsibilities:
Knowledge conduit – ensure information moves fluidly across the organization
Prepare briefings for executive meetings
Attend and transfer knowledge from meetings to appropriate team members
Translate “industry knowledge” / CEO perspective to rest of organization
Help build systems to institutionalize knowledge gained
Voice of the CEO – help streamline communications to/from CEO
Draft and send all preparation and follow-up notes for meetings /relationships
Refine and communicate CEO priorities or company positioning to the company or the marketplace
Business Development
Aid client teams in organization and execution of deliverables as required
Proactively prospect clients or client categories
Thought Leadership
Help draft blogs, speeches, interviews and presentations
Identify worthwhile speaking / exposure opportunities
Help position Hudson MX in the ecosystem as a leader
Operations
Understand all current clients and their respective business goals / purposes of Hudson MX engagements
Support HR and operations team in streamlining process and structure, both internally and with clients
Identify key team expertise needs
Client Ownership
As appropriate or interested, work directly with client teams on client needs
Work directly with the CEO on any other engagements related to the business
Ownership – have fun and build something!
Identify opportunities for our clients, team members, and the company itself in the market
Recognize opportunities and execute them with direct approval from CEO
Create blogs, thought pieces, or other in-market positioning on topics about which you are passionate
Work with Hudson MX team members on projects they are passionate about
Build systems to implement any responsibility above
Ideal Background:
5+ years management consulting, banking or lawyer at top tier firm or has served in a Chief of Staff capacity previously
Thrives on multitasking & lack of routine
Travel is a perk, not an obligation
Understands start-up community, venture & PE industries
Interested in a product-led business and the media industry
Proficient in Google Suite (PowerPoint and Excel alternatives, Docs and Sheets)
Not intimidated by difficult conversations or negotiations
