What We Do
Wagmo is a new type of membership plan that makes it easy and affordable to be a better pet parent. For our customers, Wagmo offers pet-parents access to affordable pet wellness and health insurance including coverage for things like exam fees, vaccines, even grooming. On the back end, Wagmo products are designed to collect real-time veterinary pricing data around the country, giving us a unique insight into consumer spending and pet medical histories.
The Role
Wagmo is looking for a versatile, analytical, entrepreneurial, Partnerships Manager that will be responsible for driving new strategic growth partnerships for Wagmo’s wellness plan.
Partnerships are central to Wagmo’s distribution model, and you’ll be tasked with building out and managing a portfolio of like-minded companies that are excited to distribute, market, or license Wagmo wellness plans.
What You'll Do
Own and lead the development of Wagmo’s network of distribution partners
Identify opportunities for partnerships with companies who share Wagmo’s mission
Create compelling business cases for partners and shape key company materials such as pitch decks and case studies
Engage with potential clients to explain Wagmo, and understand how our product offerings might align with their business objectives
Develop workflows and processes around the growth partnership process
Partner with our Product team to productize these flows, giving you the capacity to manage more partners as or more effectively and in less time
Lay the foundation for what will be core to our crucial enterprise partnership program
What You'll Need to be Successful
At least 3 years of proven track record in fast growing companies, developing mutually beneficial, high growth partnerships with partners
You have natural hustle and drive to get deals done. You are driven, energetic and persistent
Experience partnering with Product and Tech teams
Experience or comfort with cold calling and connecting with prospects over the phone
Ability to work under pressure
Goal-motivated
Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to prioritize and work with minimal supervision
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
