The nitty gritty
Great Jones is seeking a Marketing Manager to support the ideation and execution of projects aimed at generating brand awareness, engagement, and sales. The Marketing Manager will be a key contributor in driving campaign and project development for everything from partnerships to location-specific campaigns, and this position will act as a right hand to the co-founders to ensure that projects are developed and measured against strategic priorities, executed on-brand, and delivered on-time and on-budget. We are looking for someone who naturally blends being a team player with taking the lead. An ideal candidate has a passion for creative brand storytelling, marketing, and strategic operations — and is excited to introduce Great Jones to new audiences.
What you’ll do:
Help lead marketing plans for new campaigns (regional, national), product launches, events, and, activations, streamlining processes and helping with long-term planning to set up our team to create our best work.
Execute experiential and digital campaigns using a monthly marketing budget.
Proactively explore potential partnerships and field inbound requests; project-manage partnerships from start to finish.
Constantly have a pulse on marketing trends across industries, with a specific pulse on D2C startups and the food and fashion spaces.
Report on major brand-marketing initiatives and efforts on a recurring basis, ensuring return on marketing spend and general findings are effectively delivered to the team.
Increase brand awareness in both existing and new markets.
Identify clear strategies to evolve and grow our customer base.
Who you are:
3+ years of relevant experience, with a portfolio of projects to showcase.
Able to manage multiple projects and the desire to bring structure to undefined procedures.
Deeply familiar with brand strategy and strategic operations — you know how to connect the dots to drive business results and brand affinity along the way.
Strong presentation skills and ability to synthesize findings into digestible forms.
Both analytical and creative, as well as strategic and tactical, with an exceptional attention to detail.
Culturally-aware and naturally curious — you know what other brands are doing.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
A strong sense of creativity and understanding of the creative process.
An obsession with creating impactful consumer-centric experiences.
