Poshmark is seeking a Chief of Staff to the CMO to help drive the rapid growth of our company and community. We’re pursuing a wide range of exciting marketing opportunities, from new channel testing, scaling existing channels, international expansion to innovations in social commerce, while making major investments to scale our team, processes and infrastructure.
The Chief of Staff will drive the process we use to plan, prioritize and execute this diverse set of projects, working closely with leaders across the marketing organization to achieve our aggressive growth goals in the near term, and our mission over the long-term. The ideal candidate is a strong collaborator and effective communicator with a passion for social commerce.
The COS to the CMO a member of the Marketing leadership team and reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.
Partner with the CMO and other marketing leaders to drive the quarterly and long-term strategic planning process while working with marketing leaders to improve efficiency of processes, programs and infrastructure.
Work with each marketing executive to manage cross functional projects, sharpen focus and measurement, and using strategic insights to recommend new initiatives to scale spend and revenue.
Develop and execute improvements to the strategic planning framework and process.
Identify and escalate organizational, resourcing and other issues blocking efficient marketing investments
Directing the development and implementation of processes, tools, metrics, initiatives, infrastructure and technology that will support and improve the operations of the Marketing function.
Maintaining the institutional memory of the organization by creating a shared knowledge portal and repository of best practices.
Requirements:
6-10 years experience with a proven track record as a chief of staff, head of operations or program manager in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in a strategy role, either consulting or in-house.
Must have high analytical skills, be able to see patterns (systems thinker), be a strategic decision maker.
Highly collaborative. Enjoy working with people. Humble, with strong listening skills.
Exceptional communication skills with a strong executive presence.
Experience in growth marketing, marketplaces and consumer technology is a plus (but not necessary).
Passionate, approachable, thoughtful and respectful to our team and community.
Ability to work with different people and ability to remain calm under pressure
MBA or similar degree.
