The goal of Blueprint Title Company is simple: streamline residential real estate closings for enterprise buyers, sellers, and real estate service professionals. We bring innovative technology, process, and pricing to the $16 Billion Title Insurance industry. Founded in January 2017, Blueprint Title operates over a broad, multi-state footprint and is quickly expanding.
We are a team of driven individuals with a passion for disrupting title insurance and modernizing the closing experience for enterprise. We are looking for high performers to share our mission and join in our growth. As a member of the Blueprint Title team, you will help us lead the charge in proving that the real estate closing industry is ready for novel technology, lower pricing, and better service. Enterprise aren’t consumers, loans aren’t mortgages, and there’s an untapped opportunity to create a better process for the new model of real estate.
As our Chief of Staff, you will:
Directly supporting the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) as well as the executive team, at large. You will be a thought partner to the CEO on all matters, from how to operationalize and prioritize the team, to strategy development and goal execution. You will help turn ideas and strategy into execution through goal setting exercises, developing and optimizing business reporting mechanisms, leading communications across the senior management team.
In this role, you will be the glue helping Blueprint to achieve one its core values: “We Move In One Direction.” It’s key this person has the soft skills and judgment to quickly understand the climate and engagement of the organization, then be able to build tools, forums, and programs to strengthen and accelerate the team.
What you will work on:
1. Metrics
Work with CEO to identify, define, measure, and report key business drivers and KPIs
Work with company management to manage KPIs
Continue to adapt and improve metrics to ensure that the executive team and Board always have up-to-date and accurate information as to Blueprint’s health
2.Strategy
Work with CEO to identify Company inflection points, then think backwards to plan and execute necessary activity
Execute on special projects for CEO, including development of fundraising, team-growth, partnership, and sales activities
3.Alignment
Manage weekly meeting with key personnel to gather KPIs and ensure each department is moving forward together
Bi-weekly publication of team OKR and sub-OKR status
Identification and reporting of cross-functional dependencies
What we are looking for in you:
1.Metrics / KPIs Track Record
History of high-level management of KPIs, metrics, and OKR
Proven track-record of managing diverse departmental goals and/or cross-functional teams
2.Work Experience
5+ years of work experience in management consulting, analytics, venture capital, or strategy and operations at a technology company (or similar).
BA/BS in a relevant field (Operations Management and Systems Engineering is a plus).
Excellent time and project management skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively (PMP certification is a plus).
Practical working experience in growth strategy implementation, strategic planning, sophisticated financial analysis.
3.“Soft” Skills:
Demonstrated abilities to ask the right questions and to use sound business judgment when collaborating with a wide range of partners.
Effective and mature communicator, able to convey intricate ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing; comfortable in business and technical discussions.
Experience in building positive relationships and influencing others (incl. executive audiences).
Self-starter who thrives and can multitask in fast-paced and often ambiguous environments.
