Flatiron School is looking for a Manager of Business Strategy and Operations. Over the past year, Flatiron School has experienced rapid growth. In partnership with WeWork, we continue to see many exciting opportunities for further expansion. Flatiron School is aiming to increase its campuses, course offerings, and student enrollments, while simultaneously creating a more efficient operating model. The role of the Business Strategy and Operations team is to accelerate the company’s growth trajectory and optimize existing business operations. Your role as the Manager of Business Strategy and Operation will be to work with the Flatiron School executive team and WeWork partners to drive strategic and scalable business growth.
Responsibilities
Drive company-level strategic growth planning; collaborate with General Management and Finance teams to create tools and structure to enable agile and effective quarterly, annual, and long-term strategic planning
Implement and oversee company-level KPIs and OKRs; create qualitative and quantitative reporting mechanisms to facilitate actionable, commercially-oriented processes and solutions
Lead opportunities for M&A and strategic partnerships that support Flatiron Schools growth plans, including sourcing, diligencing, business planning, and integration processes
Build analytical frameworks to identify, assess, and determine opportunities for growth
Lead execution of high priority strategic initiatives and projects, including support for WeWork’s IPO
Qualifications:
You are tactical and know how to get things done quickly and efficiently
You are a problem solver and able to make creative, forward-looking decisions
Excellent Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills (as well as Google Sheets and Google Slides)
Excellent project management skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to manage complex projects with many cross-functional stakeholder
Maturity Ability to work with executives
3+ years experience in Consulting, Investment Banking, or similar Corporate role
Bachelor's Degree
