Our Portfolio department serves as trusted advisors to our clients, going beyond the transaction lending process to ensure clients can count on us to understand their strategic objectives, operations, and advise them accordingly based on our collective experience.
Dwight is looking for a diligent, detail-oriented, and motivated individual to help maintain the overall health of our book of business, uphold our high standards for customer experience, and identify ways to improve upon current processes. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to dig into the books of various high growth companies, monitor and develop credit procedures and contribute to a vibrant startup ecosystem. In order to be successful, the individual in this role must possess the skills required to be an ambassador of Dwight advising our clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
Navigate executive level conversations with clients, demonstrating a command of their business (objectives, challenges, operational health) and industry fluency (trends, headwinds, partners)
Manage day-to-day funding requests
Evaluate requests for amendments to terms and develop a recommended structure based on the client’s risk profile
Develop operational processes to improve efficiency and scale policies and procedures as the portfolio continues to grow
Organize client data and translate into actionable insights
Required Qualifications
4-8 years of professional experience
Strong attention to detail
Great organizational skills
Emotionally intelligent and communicates effectively / confidently
Tested knowledge of Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow analysis
Growth-oriented; will flag process issues / inefficiencies and take the initiative to implement solutions
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
Other Desired Qualifications (Preferred, not required): Accounting and/or underwriting experience Working knowledge of Excel VBA
