About the Role
Pilotworks is seeking a Chief of Staff to support our COO. The Chief of Staff is a wide-ranging role that serves as a primary liaison and strategic advisor to the executive in support of the needs of Pilotworks’ rapidly growing business and operations organization.
The Chief of Staff is a wide ranging role focused on support Pilotworks’ growth and innovation potential. This role works closely with the executive team to aid in accelerating the company’s work across product, technology, operations, real estate, marketing, and internal administration.
Job Responsibilities
Work closely with the COO, leadership, and team members to set, measure, execute and report on quarterly and annual business goals.
Originate, explore and track multiple complex projects at-once without dropping balls.
Provide information and advice regarding key strategic issues.
Aid with communicating internal initiatives and act as a primary liaison with internal teams to communicate internal initiatives.
Provide counsel and support to COO for external engagements including handling complex and/or sensitive external engagements on your own.
Collaborate with the leadership team and others to plan and lead internal meetings and operational initiatives.
Advise on confidential projects involving sensitive business and financial information.
Ensure deliverables are actioned within deadlines.
Oversee and manage a wide variety of highly prioritized projects, as well as complete ad-hoc projects, requests, and analysis for a variety of growth-related requests.
Provide organizational support, helping to ensure action items, deadlines, and deliverables are completed.
Competencies
Strong background in finance, operations, management consulting and/or real estate.
An unrelenting desire to get things done.
Experience in a position of doing where you not only crafted strategic approaches but got them done.
Exceptional communication and synthesis skills, including clearly communicating complex ideas to all levels of an organization.
Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations.
