Who you’ll work for: the Chief of Staff
SeatGeek is growing rapidly in all areas of our business. SeatGeek Enterprise is taking off and our consumer-facing core business continues to gain share. Now we’re looking for a Business Operations Associate to partner with leaders across SeatGeek as we scale our operations to keep pace with this growth.
You’ll be responsible not only for generating insights and recommendations to drive future expansion opportunities, but also for implementation. Through a combination of exceptional analytical abilities, top-notch communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset, you’ll help us build a better experience for our customers, clients and partners.
What You'll Do
Working closely with the Chief of Staff, you'll be charged with solving some of the biggest problems facing the business alongside our executive team. This role touches all areas of the business and will give you broad exposure to operations and strategy within a high-growth start-up. You’ll also:
Drive analysis and provide recommendations for entering new markets
Conduct due diligence on new business opportunities
Lead cross-functional projects and build consensus with stakeholders across the organization
Investigate business issues and partner with department leaders to devise and implement solutions
Build and implement new processes to improve collaboration and efficiency in our fast growing and newly global business
Who You Are
You have a degree, ideally with a major in an analytical discipline
You have 2-3 years of experience at a consulting firm (or comparable strategy/biz ops experience at a large technology company)
Highly analytical. You have strong problem solving skills and the ability to communicate insights concisely and impactfully
You thrive in a high growth, always evolving environment
Comfortable with the unknown. You can get up to speed quickly on new topics, unknown markets, platforms, and ways of working.
A self-starter. You are independently capable of seeking information in an unstructured environment, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results without waiting for direction
You have a low ego. You are a natural collaborator comfortable working across a wide range of people and personalities
