Since our founding in 2013, Passion Passport has built an extensive community of passionate photographers, storytellers, makers and other creatives. Connecting our partners with this community—one that has found a home with Passion Passport—is the reason brands collaborate with us.
We are specifically known for our experiential programming. We believe that developing a connection with your audience means effortlessly becoming champions for who they are and what they want to do. It requires understanding what motivates them to think, feel and act, and what moves them emotionally. We work with brands who share this belief to design transformative travel experiences. Documented by our expansive network of on-staff creatives and our community, these experiences extend far beyond the locations themselves to emotionally and effectively connect brands with a millennial audience.
The ideal candidate will be in the driver’s seat of Passion Passport’s future and will have the opportunity to shape the lives of its community members through creative opportunities, content production, and travel grants.
He or she has relevant startup and agency experience with an innovative approach in digital marketing, photography and videography management, creative storytelling, social media and influencer campaigns, and content strategy. This candidate is a natural leader who constantly strives to better themselves and their team: a charismatic, meticulous individual dedicated to promoting the transformative nature of travel. This candidate earns respect not only because of their experience, work ethic, and strengths but because they demonstrate empathy and respect for others.
The ideal candidate will be based and lead a small team in New York City.
Chief Responsibilities:
Lead and advise marketing team on strategy, develop new opportunities for growth, and develop creative concepts for Passion Passport campaigns
Function as the chief point of contact for Passion Passport’s most important clients
Guide agency activity by developing high-level strategic plans, effectively utilizing cross-functional teams, and influencing senior clients through deep knowledge of social and comprehensive creative campaigns
Work with the social media lead and editorial lead on content and messaging for Passion Passport social and Passion Passport editorial
Lead weekly team calls with remote team members and oversee day-to-day operations of marketing, social & editorial teams
Design community-based initiatives to increase participation and awareness for Passion Passport through brand partnerships and grassroots initiatives like The Bucket List Initiative
Work directly with the Founder to cultivate and execute the larger company vision
Monitor revenue, profitability, and internal productivity
Set guidelines for personnel evaluations, recruitment, and advancement
Lead monthly and quarterly organizational strategy calls
Nurture a vibrant, inspirational organizational culture with in-office and remote team
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience. Bachelor’s degree required, Masters/higher education advantageous
Leadership ability and the willingness to take initiative and be versatile is key
Has worked as an account lead on creative and media projects for large clients. Proven track record: has set ambitious goals on campaigns and exceeded project/client KPIs.
Has relevant experience negotiating large scale contracts with clients similar to Passion Passport’s
Excellent at solving problems with strong attention to detail
Team player, excellent communicator, and sets concrete goals & expectations
Entrepreneurial mindset and kaizen approach: striving for continuous improvement and development (professionally and personally)
Experience in design a bonus
