As Chief of Staff to the Chief Operating Officer, you’ll work with our Leadership Team and other operational leaders across the organization to run, scale, and operationalize the business more effectively.
Responsibilities
Own key projects and operations
Drive departmental efficiencies through process improvements and personnel relocations
Undertake ad-hoc projects for COO
Manage critical department processes
Supervise all change management related to organizational redesign and transformations inclusive of all implementation and communication plans
Aggregate, evaluate and track functional vitals and KPIs
Create department budget and monitor ongoing usage for all subdivisions
Manage department EA and other teams during leader transitions, as necessary
Support better business decisions to drive impactful outcomes
Provide leverage by ranking competing priorities and creating decision-making frameworks and allocating critical tasks
Build comprehensive understanding of department functions and assist with organizational design
Oversee employee lifecycle within department (managing headcount planning, reviewing new hire onboarding plans, intern allocation and oversight, running annual performance evaluation logistics, creating Glint synthesis)
Provide program leadership on critical COO and company cross-functional efforts
About you:
BA/BS Degree required
10+ years of work experience, and proven track record of performance within a rapidly scaling organization
Proven experience supporting executive level management and driving interdepartmental collaboration
Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to take initiative and critically analyze processes and procedures in a push toward constant improvement
Ability to prioritize, lead discussions and coordinate objectives among a diversified group of stakeholders
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to articulate and explain complex issues to various individuals in different functioning roles
Organized, detail oriented and extremely thorough while having the confidence and communication skills to ensure work processes are completed accurately and effectively
Team oriented individual with ability to work well with diverse groups
A motivated self-starter
