Comp: Salary of $90-$120k, 0.08 - 0.15% equity
We are looking for a superstar individual who is versatile, ambitious with high intellectual horsepower, with exceptional quantitative skills, and has an entrepreneurial spirit to work with CoEdition’s leadership team in executing on some of our most critical strategic and operational priorities.
You will report directly to the CEO and be a force multiplier while gaining deep exposure to an early-stage company.
In this role, you will be responsible for working through complex questions in areas like customer acquisition, financial planning / P&L management, product development and road-mapping, investor relations, future fundraising, among others. Moreover, you will play a critical role in collaborating with the founding team to build out various functions within a fast-growing startup.
The right candidate will have the ability to effectively manage multiple simultaneous workstreams -- sometimes driving from strategy through execution, other times collaborating with a cross-functional team or external parties.
Our Strategy & Operations Lead will also be instrumental in helping set the cultural fabric of our positive, ambitious and fun culture in our New York City headquarters. Your Responsibilities:
Drive, assist, and lead key strategic and business operations initiatives across functions
Through analysis and deep understanding of fundamental drivers, help us dial in on acquisition, operations, and cash flow metrics amid high growth
Collaborate with functional leaders to develop and measure key metrics & milestones
Build and maintain operational and financial models to help us evaluate and pursue different scenarios and opportunities
Collaborate with the CEO to manage internal and external communications from board-level to internal company-wide
What You Offer:
A BA/BS Degree is required, MBA from a top-tier program (a plus)
At least 3-5 years of prior experience in management consulting, investment banking / private equity, developing strategy for early-stage companies, or another related field
Strong analytical skills and experience with financial modeling in Excel preferred
Highly collaborative and team oriented mindset with strong communication skills
Entrepreneurial instinct and a proactive / solution-oriented hustle
Start-up e-commerce experience preferred, interest in consumer products / fashion is a plus
Positive and consistent attitude; good sense of humor is a plus!
