The Role
The Technical Advisor for the CEO is a highly visible role that serves as a business liaison, program leader, and consultant on various business and technical topics across programs within TuneIn. The candidate for this position may possess deep knowledge and expertise in certain technical or business fields, and is expected to develop a broad understanding of the TuneIn and leadership skills to influence partners and stakeholders. The ideal candidate thinks strategically, takes initiative, leads by example, and operates effectively and independently.
Help The CEO Carry Out Efficient And Effective Management By:
Shadowing the CEO, helping drive from vision to operating reality
Driving the creation of content for executive presentations
Providing an independent perspective and acting as a sounding board for ideas
Grow The CEO’s Bandwidth And Increase His Leverage:
Attending business/program review meetings, providing feedback, and asking questions on areas that stand out
Ensure strong follow-up management on action items and questions.
Perform ad hoc deep dives in collaboration with Finance and executive stakeholders owners
Lead Company level projects that require a single-threaded owner outside the existing functional areas (e.g., Corp Dev/M&A, etc)
Increase Executive Team Effectiveness:
Managing in collaboration with Finance, the annual planning process, and strategic agenda/topics for leadership meetings offsite
Act as a consultant to various internal teams or projects. Support teams need help thinking through problems (both business and communications)
Develop mechanisms to drive best practice sharing across programs and teams
Discover And Investigate Both Internal And External Technology And Business Trends By:
Exploring trends and companies that present strategic opportunities or risks
Attending and participating in benchmarking reviews
Surface and investigate ad hoc new ideas. Drive pilot initiatives and deliver recommendations on top unfunded investment areas
Participate in and lead internal strategy development and review
Act As CEO Liaison In Various Forums Or Projects:
Regular meetings with other project managers across the company
Corporate development / BD activities
Investor meetings
Career path:
Ideally will serve for 12-24 months and then transition into a senior operational role.
Basic Qualifications:
3-5+ years experience engaging with Sr. Executives
Proven, successful track record of navigating through ambiguous situations
Proven, successful track record of influencing across the organization and leading others cross-functionally to deliver on projects and goal
Proven, successful track record of working with headquarters on global projects
BA/BS Degree in Business Administration or other relevant degrees (accredited)
Preferred Qualifications:
Deep hands-on financial and analytics expertise
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong business acumen - success in management consulting or investment banking fields
