Here’s a role that would put you in the co-pilot’s seat at a brand new wellness startup that’s looking to provide information and guidance in the personal development space. Because you’d be getting in so early, you’ll probably get a chance to shape the team, the culture, and different parts of the business while really getting a chance to understand what it takes to start something from scratch.
The nitty gritty
Opportunity to join an evolving initiative in the personal development space with a goal to build a Mind/Body Wellness Center. The Mind/Body Wellness Center will have various business lines including, but not limited to book/articles, seminars, software development, health/life coaching. The ideal candidate should be passionate about personal development and mission-driven and the successful candidate must be committed to the vision and values of the Founder.
Responsibilities will include:
Act as a main consultant to the Founder
Point of contact/gatekeeper between management and other stakeholders, act as the central contact for all business communications
Provide oversight and guidance and to supervise the execution of projects as well as hands-on processing
Management of executive support staff, consultants, and vendors
Help coordinate business-wide procedures and work to improve existing processes for maximum clarity, efficiency, and success
Attend meetings and deliver progress reports to Founder
Highly experienced with project coordinating and management
Can successfully organize and direct large teams of people
Assist in special assignments as needed

Qualifications:
The role provides access to the inner workings of the personal development space. The successful candidate will be discrete, high-energy, agile-minded, strategic, proactive, a direct communicator, with impeccable time management skills
5+ years of experience in leadership/management role
Knowledge in the following areas: software development, real estate negotiation, business law and human resources
Understanding of: accounting/bookkeeping, spreadsheet/excel savvy
Social Media Savvy
Willingness to work hard and take direction – but also creatively solve problems for which the answers are not always obvious
Interest in personal development and health and wellness space
Superior organizational skills, project planning/execution and management experience
Proven problem solver who can make clear-headed decisions while under pressure
