ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Chief of Staff of Fred Swaniker, you will serve as his ‘right hand’ -helping him to build a disruptive leadership movement and reinvent talent development on a global scale. No day will be the same as you help manage a rapidly growing organisation to achieve its ambitious priorities, lead special projects, launch new initiatives, and engage with investors, board members, corporate partners and other key stakeholders. You will have a front-row seat of entrepreneurship in its most exciting and complex form.
This role is a great fit for you if you are extremely good at juggling different priorities, you are a fast-learner, highly analytical, an outstanding project manager, humble, and very hard working. Ideally, you bring 2-5 years of work experience in strategy consulting or investment banking with a global firm, and are excited about working with a seasoned entrepreneur to build a large-scale, highly innovative enterprise.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience & Background: At least 3-5 years of experience working on a diverse range of projects
Extremely organized: You keep meticulous to-do lists, plan your day carefully, and make sure everything gets done.
Excellent writer: You enjoy writing and know what is appropriate for different audiences (e.g. high profile ministers/CEOs, media, vs general public etc).
Detail-oriented: You are very careful and triple-check important documents, emails, presentations, etc.
Learning mindset: You are always willing to seek and receive feedback and see it as an opportunity for growth.
High standards: You know what excellence looks like, and can be counted on to deliver consistent quality.
Humble, service mindset: You can see how seemingly low-level tasks like scheduling can contribute to the organization’s bold mission.
Proactivity: You get into the mind of the CEO and anticipate what is needed way before him; you are always one step ahead.
Administrator: You are excited by taking administrative work off the CEO’s plate so he can focus on his most critical tasks.
Adventurous: You are excited about doing new things .
Experience: You have experience working closely with a senior manager.
Project manager: You can break a big project into smaller steps, set milestones, track progress, and deliver results.
High-performer: You are energetic, thrive under high pressure and work at a fast pace.
